Cheeseburger Quesadilla

Ultimate Cheesy Beef Quesadilla


1 lb ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
4 large flour tortillas
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup pickles, sliced
1 small onion, diced
1 tomato, diced (optional)
Butter for frying
Condiments: ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise (optional)


In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
On a clean surface, lay out the tortillas. Spread a layer of cheddar and mozzarella cheese on one half of each tortilla.
Distribute the cooked ground beef evenly over the cheese. Add onions, pickles, and tomatoes if desired.
Fold the tortillas over to close the quesadillas.
In the same skillet, melt a little butter over medium heat. Place the quesadillas in the skillet, and cook until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Serve hot with your choice of ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise.
